In House Service:  While most manufacturers require that products be returned to them directly PYS can accommodate in house repairs for certain manufacturers.  Warranty repairs sent to our service department must include proof of purchase.  In warranty service will be performed on a no charge basis, FOB Spring Lake Heights, N.J.  Product returned for warranty work and found to perform to manufacturers specs will be charged according to the factory rate, as this is not considered warranty repair.  Out of box failures will be exchange or repaired based on factory policy.

Warranty and Returns:  We try to make this as painless as possible, but there must be some practical guidelines.

Returns:  We have a 30-day return policy for stock items.  Anything in this category must be in brand new condition, and in it's factory carton.  Those are accepted without a restock charge.

  • We do not accept open blister packs or returns on any software.
  • All other returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a restock charge.
  • All returns require a return reference number.


All units are covered by a factory warranty.  We can only assist in products service or exchanges.  All factory warranty issues are handled on a case-by-case basis.  On most products we have a 30-day window to make out-of-box exchanges.  Defective units must be returned postage paid.  We do not send call tags or pay for return freight. (Neither do most factories.)

A return reference number is required for all warranty issues.

Damaged in Transit:

UPS:  If a parcel arrives in a damaged condition, refuse to accept it.  It will be returned to us.  We will file a claim and replace it to you.  If you discover concealed damage once you have accepted delivery:

1.    Call UPS for an inspection
2.    Hold on to all original packing, boxing, cartons, etc.
3.    UPS will inform you what to do.
